Having dropped two singles from his upcoming album, Touch My Blood, AKA has confirmed this body of work will be his final album. This year the rapper has already dropped Star Signs featuring Stoogie T and Sweet Fire. AKA has kept his fans eagerly anticipating the new album with snippets of new tracks that he’s been sharing on his social media platforms.
While he has kept his fans on the loop on everything surrounding this album, his management has confirmed to TshisaLive that the rapper considers this his last album as he seeks to venture into other areas of the media and business.
The rapper’s manager Tshiamo Letswene said AKA wants to pursue other interests beyond music.
“Yup. This is it. This is his last album. He wants to do other things with his life beyond music. He is a father and a businessman. He has a company to run and he will be focusing on that and other projects. He will always be AKA and will dip in and out of music.”
Tshiamo revealed that Touch My Blood was “coming along nicely” and should be released in May.

During an interview with TshisaLIVE in September last year, AKA said he felt albums were “restrictive”.
He did however go on to produce one of the finest collaboration albums in South African Hip Hop, Be Careful What You Wish For, with Anatii.
Last year we wrote on how AKA could be on a kiss and make up tour after patching things with Anatii. It now seems he has also worked on his relationship with Tweezy. The two are reportedly back in studio and working together again after a public fallout, and Tweezy could be one of the featured producers on the new album.
